Dr. Aung is a kind and caring GP who believes in providing high quality patient centred care. She has special interests in women’s health and chronic medical conditions including weight management and lifestyle modifications.
Dr. Volga Dissanayake graduated in 2005 and brings over a decade of in-hospital experience.
Dr. Volga served as a registrar in Intensive Care at Blacktown Hospital, NSW, before gaining extensive experience over six years at various hospitals in Brisbane, including Ipswich Hospital, Redland Hospital, QE2 Jubilee Hospital, and Mater Mothers’ Hospital. Her diverse expertise spans multiple specialties, such as Intensive Care Medicine, General Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Gynaecology, Emergency Medicine, Palliative Care, and Neonatology. Additionally, she has experience as a medical officer in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine in Sri Lanka.
